Founded in 1928, the Casa de Portugal Hospital underwent extensive restructuring, with increased care capacity, modernized equipment, and specialized services incorporated into routine, becoming a modern hospital center. It began to focus on humanized care, widely disseminated in continuing education programs and team training, changing the philosophy of the hospital. Currently, it has a modern hospital structure with all standardized and computerized care, which offers highly complex procedures, extensive care capacity, comfort and security. There are 172 beds, divided between Intensive Care, fit and sick beds; 6 non-surgical center rooms; modern imaging center, with magnetic resonance imaging and computerized tomography; prompt service and emergency 24 hours, in addition to various other services.
