With the mission of providing medical-assistance care and complementary quality tests to the active and inactive military, their dependents and pensioners of the CBMERJ, it promotes health prevention activities together with the corporation and the community. Gold Medal in the last edition of PQ-Rio (best public health institution award). In all, the unit has 183 officers, 407 praças and 30 civis, to provide hospital care to about 80 thousand people, including the Corporação’s military and their dependents.
